My experiences @ bangalore

“Please fasten your seat belts; we are about to land on Bangalore airport in around 10 mins.” On hearing this announcement and feeling the mild jerks on loosing the altitude in flight, I did follow the instructions. After tying the seat belts I casually peeped out of the small window. I saw small yellow sparkling diamonds scattered all over the ground-that was Bangalore city that night @ 7 P.M. Small portion was looking like conveyor belt carrying yellow diamonds from one place to another-those were the vehicles on the road. Butterflies were multiplying in my stomach. I landed safely on HAL airport and called up all my family members about my first foot step in Bangalore.

After claiming baggage I went outside in search of prepaid auto. I found one RTO policemen sitting in small cabin keeping track of all passengers, their destination and auto’s registration number. He asked me something in kannad but I was not able to understand (I guess he must have asked me about my destination). I approached him and registered myself for CMH road shuttle. I saw he has written something in kannad but I was not able to verify it J J He smiled and asked me to sit in auto with registration number KA-01/4646. Payment has to be made against meter reading (Not prepaid auto in real sense).

I took an auto and till now I have already experienced Bangalore’s traffic. While traveling in auto I was preparing the graph in my mind about the path he took from airport so that I can track him if he is roaming unreasonably (always do that when you are new to the road structures of the city).

Next day I came out of my guest house to explore it more. Juices cost 8 Rs, shopping mall at every 100 mts. South Indian dishes in breakfast and mumbai’s pav bhaji in lunch accompanied by 4 glasses of juice every day.

City of Gardens, land of opportunities and people with high values that’s Namma Bangalooru!!
